BSL Flare Stack
The existing flare stack at BSL Port Kembla had been identified as beyond it's design life and is to be replaced by a new self supporting design which will be installed by Allfab as part of our contract.
Utilising Heavy Cranes BSL and Allfab developed a plan to demolish the existing stack and truss support structure to the existing foundations in a series of controlled lifts.
With favourable weather conditions Allfab were able to complete the demolition ahead of schedule and work in currently underway to erect the new structure.
