Living Safety Award
In 2008, the inaugural year of the “Bluescope Steel Living Safety Awards”, Allfab Constructions was the only Contractor to win an Award.
Following this initial success, Allfab is proud to announce that in 2009 it has been “Highly Commended” in two categories “Leadership and Engagement” and “Safety Initiative”. The Awards are highly competitive and are open to individuals, groups, departments, plants and contractors from across the globe.
Allfab’s recognition is in response to it leading the way and introducing a “debrief” session into its daily toolbox meetings. Using techniques developed by elite military forces, each work crew self evaluates their performance and their experience gained on the previous day, with the aim of reinforcing behaviour that worked well, identifying deficiencies and implementing improvements. Allfab is the first the first company to use this revolutionary concept in heavy industry.
This latest recognition by Bluescope Steel is a testimony to Allfab’s commitment to continual improvement.
